November has been a quiet month for my hobby. I have been busy with work and here in the UK the weather has been awful. As such, I have had a lack of natural light, which has in part slowed my painting. I began the month by painting the Sons of Velmorn from the new Warhammer Underworlds: Gnarlwood set. This group of Grave Guard was a pleasant change from the aircraft I have been painting recently. It was also nice to complete a whole warband in a single month, something I have not achieved for a while. So, I can once again tick off 'Paint a Warhammer Underworlds warband'.

The Sons of Velmorn

With the Sons of Velmorn finished, I returned to my Aeronautica Imperialis miniatures. I had found a single Marauder Bomber in the loft some months ago. So, I set about painting this aircraft, as I have a plan for a bombing mission on my YouTube channel.

Next, I built and painted three more Xiphon Interceptors. I had bought these miniatures with my Warhammer+ voucher. I decided I wanted to paint these up as Night Lords, in part inspired by my choice of colours for the Sons of Velmorn. How I paint - Aeronautica Imperialis - Night Lords

With only nine miniatures painted in November, I really did not make much progress. I picked up the Nethermaze boxset (nine miniatures) and a box of Xiphon Interceptor (using my Warhammer+ voucher). I intend these to be the last miniatures I buy this year.

If you are interested in Aeronautica Imperialis, you might be interested in my YouTube channel (@Jon Grant Miniatures). With that I will say goodbye for now and remember 'Always Watch Your Six'.
