November arrived and I was due to attend my third Warhammer Underworlds tournament.  I again did not buy any miniatures during the month, although I did pick up a couple of paints. I decided to take Lady Harrow's Mournflight to the tournament. I had already painted this warband a few years ago for my Nighthaunt Age of Sigmar army. I had recently found a second set of the Myrmourn Banshees in my boxes of miniatures, stored in the loft, and decided to paint them up.

As such, I started the month by painting four Myrmourn Banshees. This allowed me tick off my first hobby goal for the month 'Paint a unit for an existing army' or 'Paint a Warhammer Underworlds warband'. For this unit I used my How I Paint - Nighthaunts and Nighthaunt Extra Detail guides.

With this unit prepared for the tournament, I then switched to Skabbik's Plaguepack, the last warband from Wyrdhollow. I began with Poxlix, Rikkit and Skritter to establish the paint scheme for these miniatures. Then I moved onto Itchitt. I used Itchitt as a basis for my How I Paint - Skaven - Clan Pestilens

As such, this year I have bought 55 miniatures (again, no miniatures this month) this year and painted 117 pile of unpainted plastic continues to shrink. Again, I could tick off 'Do not buy any miniatures for a month' and 'Paint more miniatures in a month than are bought'.

Last year I managed to paint 52 more miniatures than I bought. So, I am already doing better this year. I do, however, have enough of a Warhammer Underworlds warband backlog to see me through most of 2024. As I still have 9 warbands to complete from this and previous seasons.

Hopefully, in December I can finish Skabbik's Plaguepack, but my painting space is quite cold at the moment. Bye for now.
