As the end of June rolled around, the Agents of Sigmar hosted their latest tournament here in the south of England. The 28th of June turned out to be a hot and muggy British summer’s day. On top of that, I had badly hurt my back, meaning I could only sit for a few minutes at a time. The day was shaping up to be both physically and mentally demanding. For the tournament, I was running Cyreni's Razors with a Strike build, pairing Blazing Assault and Countdown to Cataclysm . The aim was to use the Razors' accuracy to focus down one enemy fighter at a time, while relying on their speed and range 2 weapons to stay out of harm’s way. In each game, I planned to start by inspiring Cephanyr in the first round to benefit from extra Movement, a 4-sword attack, and a 2-Dodge defence. Painting Well, June didn’t turn out to be a good month! I seriously hurt my back (clearly, I’m getting old), and as a result, I could do very little painting. At the start of the month, I wasn’t able to do any at all. Eventually, I managed a few minutes here and there while standing up. As such, I haven’t finished my Knives of the Crone . I did, however, return to painting some Aeronautica Imperialis (or arguably Legions Imperialis ) miniatures. I completed a single Xiphon Interceptor in the colours of the Iron Warriors—a Legion I’ve wanted to paint for ages so I can deploy them against my Imperial Fists.
